Carter’s “Alien Scriptures: Extraterrestrials in the Holy Bible”

Was just watching Ancient Aliens (History Channel) and saw one “Rev. Michael J.S. Carter, M.Div” giving his views on ancient astronauts… on the “Angels and Aliens” episode which aired for the first time last night (Dec. 9, 2010).  Here’s a link to a description of it.

Then just found this (below) on this site: http://community-2.webtv.net/AOKSpacer/SPACECONTACTEXPLORER/

Rev. Michael J.S. Carter, M.Div., author of “ALIEN SCRIPTURES: EXTRATERRESTRIALS IN THE HOLY BIBLE” (Blue Star Productions, 2005) will appear in a segment on the “Angels and Aliens” episode of the History Channel’s “Ancient Aliens” series on Thursday evening, December 9. Rev. Carter, formerly of NYC and a member of S.P.A.C.E., appeared on a documentary in 2003 in connection with the Steven Spielberg mini-series “Taken” on the then Sci Fi Channel (now SYFY),and his book is based on his thesies at the Union Theological Semnary in NYC where he earned his Master Degree in Divinity Studies. Here’s the amazon.com listing: http://www.amazon.com/Alien-Scriptures-Extraterrestrials-Holy-Bible/dp/1881542769

I wonder what this book contributes to the discussion, to our knowledge. It’s frustrating that so few people know about Heirs of the Gods, which is a much more ground-breaking and even systematic treatment of the ancient astronaut theory in relation to the Bible.

Thanks I was wondering what it was. He’s the diversity officer at the hospital I work at in NC. I was pretty surprised to see him, I’ll probably check out the book

Amazon says Dr. Carter’s book is no longer in print or available. Does anyone know where a copy can be found

Hi, Sheryl. Fortunately, Carter’s book is now available via amazon as a kindle book. And it looks like it’s getting much more exposure (i.e., sales) than it did as a print book alone.
